Someone will die tonight.

I’ve arrived home at close to two in the morning to find my box of Norwegian, specially blended tea opened and no questions in my ask box.

Animals, I tell you.

I’m a little disappointed.

I’m disappointed easily, it seems. Molly and Mycroft have both made their appearance in my ask box and neither of the two have followed me yet. And John has made no attempt to belittle me with insults! I was going to harass them with askbox questions, but I suppose I’ll find another means of amusement as my askbox is rather empty this morning.

Anyone care to join me in a game of early morning Russian Roulette?

Anonymous sent: I find your tumblr most interesting thing to read in my precious though so scarce free time. I heard from certain sources, you do happen to help people with their problems if you find it interesting enough, even if they have no money. Do share wit us on what basis do you choose who is interesting and worthy enough of your help? I am sure not only the very problem to solve, but also the personality of a client must play a significant rple here - MH

My my my, what a delicious surprise. Has big brother Holmes come to ask some questions? I did except better grammar and sentence structure from you, Mycroft, but I guess I’ll let it pass considering you typed it instead of that new scribe of yours. My clients come to me with jobs and give me a range of their payment. I prefer to take cases of interest but if they can hold my interest with their personality or their personal grooming then I supposed I’d take the case. Granted that does not mean I’ll take the case solely on aesthetics - I’d turn down a case if it was paying lowly and uninteresting, indefinitely. Give your lover my best wishes, won’t you?

Anonymous sent: Have you ever considered kidnapping Sherlock's pet doctor just to watch him scramble about? He is rather attached for someone who claims not to care, after all. You might not get any money out of it, but maybe it would be amusing for you when you are bored between clients :)

Then again, it would bore me to no end. Sherlock loves his Johnny Boy and it would be no fun to reunite them just yet, as our favorite consulting detective is still rather crushed that they are apart. I’ve heard of a character in Miami that calls himself the “Bay Harbor Butcher” and I quite fancy the idea of kidnapping him instead.

Anonymous sent: Dear Jim, my new Westwood suit is taking forever to get here. It got held up in US customs. Please, can you fix it for me and get it here faster?

Odd that a Vivienne Westwood suit would be ‘held up’ in US customs, considering most of her stores are in the UK and almost all suits are shipped from the UK to the US. Sorry, I can’t help your unfortunate choice of purchasing a UK designer from the US. JM

Anonymous sent: Why hello there. How are we doing today? Not dead yet I see, marvellous. Really just wanted to drop in and say a quick "hello". Oh but also, could you recommend a good read? I'm quite bored. Sincerely, -SC

SC. If we’ve met, you must forgive me but, I can’t remember you right off hand. Then again, it could be the jet lag. Hello, regardless. A good read? There are so many. Classic literature I’d say “The Invisible Man” while modern day literature, I’d say “Lullaby” by Chuck Palanuik. “The October Cabaret” by Erica Quest is also rather interesting, if morbid and deep seeded thought are not a bother to you.

Revolver camera

A Colt 38 carrying a small camera that automatically takes a picture when you pull the trigger. At the left: six pictures taken by the camera. New York, 1938.

Oh the fun I could have leading people on only to take their photos. I must acquire one of these!

I agree with this. Pens have a knack for disappearing.
